Highway Traffic Management have again successfully recertified for the FORS Bronze accreditation which requires businesses to demonstrate dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, otherwise know as FORS, is widely recognised across the industry, which aims to drive up standards within fleet operations and demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

As the leading practice standard, it helps us deliver continuous improvements in road safety and operational performance and minimise the impact on our environment and our service activities.

The audit process requires businesses to give evidence of “systems, procedures and documentation” each year to ensure they are upholding the commitments within four key areas: Management, Vehicles, Drivers and Operations.

Martyn Long, Fleet Manager, commented on the news: “As a business with over 174 operational vehicles within the fleet, this is an important accreditation for us to uphold and we have done a great job in achieving FORS Bronze for the fifth year running. A big shoutout to our incredible team whose dedication made this achievement possible.”
