Highway Traffic Management Limited (HTM) is proud to mark a major milestone in 2025 as the business celebrates 30 years of being ‘Streets Ahead’.

Since its inception in 1995, HTM has grown to become one of the UK’s leading traffic management providers, with a legacy built on innovation, adaptability, and a forward-thinking approach to keeping the country moving safely and efficiently.

Over the past three decades, HTM has remained at the forefront of the traffic management industry by embracing technology, championing sustainable practices, and investing in the continuous development of its people. From pioneering digital job management systems and real-time vehicle tracking, to implementing smart safety solutions and leading the way in electric fleet integration, HTM has consistently evolved to meet the demands of an ever-changing infrastructure landscape.

“Innovation has never been a buzzword for us – it’s been a necessity. It’s something that Dad embedded as a key part of who we are as a business,” said Greg Baldwin, Managing Director at HTM. “Whether it’s using data to improve efficiency, or developing new training programmes to raise safety standards across the industry, we’re always looking at what’s next.”

HTM’s ability to anticipate industry trends and respond with agility has led to long-standing partnerships with local authorities, major infrastructure projects, and contractors across the Midlands and beyond. The business has also earned recognition for its commitment to social value, including local employment initiatives, charity partnerships, and its award-winning internal communications strategy.

To mark its 30th anniversary, HTM will be celebrating the people, projects, and partnerships that have shaped its journey so far, with fun internal campaigns for their employees as well as sharing stories with the industry from across the business.

“I am so proud of the team of people that have helped the business reach this huge milestone. Thinking back to when I started, and there were a total of 15 employees working out of a tiny depot, to sitting here now with over 270 employees working out of multiple depots across the country is nothing short of amazing.” shared Operations Director, Marcus Casey.

Finance Director Tracy Rogers has been with the company since 1997, said:

“I have so many happy, proud memories from my time here, it has truly been a honour to work alongside such a fantastic team.”

As the business reflects on its past, its sights are set on the road ahead: further digitisation, decarbonisation, and diversity in the workplace. With a legacy of innovation and a clear vision for the future, HTM continues to lead the way in traffic management – proving that true success lies in never standing still.
