The festive season brought a number of promotions within the business, seeing HTM’s headquarters house another two Contracts Coordinators.

With two employees progressing to office-based roles, another two progressed into the role of Supervisors. Marcus Casey, Business Director, said, “The continuation of our contracts in Birmingham has enabled us to support further internal progression within the business and so it’s great to see more employees coming up through the ranks to join the established contracts teams.”

“Both Matt and Kieran have shown tremendous commitment to their previous job roles and so we’re confident they will continue to excel within the roles of Contracts Coordinators.

Matt Ruff has worked for HTM for a number of years making the move to become a permanent employee in 2008 and has been working most recently in the position of a Supervisor, where he has developed great communications skills and had the opportunity to take on more responsibility for a wide range of sites.

“Matt is extremely hardworking and has got extensive experience within the industry. This along with his exceptional TM knowledge will be useful for him to draw from and apply to the role of coordinator,” said Adam Hurl, Contracts Manager.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining the contracts team and to gain a commercial understanding of the business to add to my existing operational knowledge of the company and industry,” said Matt.

Kieran Bisseker joined HTM in 2020 and established himself as a reliable operative who could take control of situations on site.

“Kieran quickly became a dependable part of the HTM team with the ability to run jobs and help the training of new starters. He has the right attitude and a hunger to learn which has helped him progress within the business thus far and will help him make a great coordinator,“ said Andy Booth, Contracts Manager.

“I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and learning more about the process and procedures that happen behind the scenes in our offices. I feel with my previous work experience married with my TM experience I will fit into my new role very well,” said Kieran.

Further promotions within the business have meant that Tom Wheatley and Ethan Pittock have been named as full time Supervisors.

“Tom Wheatley has already worked as a Supervisor in an interim period and has performed well in the role. He has developed good relationships with operatives and clients having gained their trust through his successful supervision of works onsite,” comments Andy Booth.

“Ethan has impressed over the past year with his hard work, dedication and reliability, so when he applied for the position of Supervisor I was pleased to see Ethan wanting to progress within the company. If he continues, he will be a valuable asset to myself and the IWP,” Andy continued.

“We’ve seen expansion across the business across almost all levels. It’s great to begin the New Year with a team that includes some fresh faces and who can contribute different ideas and ways of doing things,” said Marcus.
